- The Engine is inspected by a licensed marine technician and put through its paces to ensure only the best quality used engines are sold by The Marine Shop. This includes an engine pressure test, thorough inspection of gear box, spark plugs, water pump, and a running test to ensure the engine runs properly. A pass mark is only achieved if the engine meets all the factory specifications.
- Finance is available on most second hand engines available for sale at The Marine Shop. With competitive finance rates available thanks to Mercury Finance, there’s no reason to extend your mortgage just to get your boat back on the water.
- Most of our used outboards come with a limited three month warranty*, meaning that you can buy with confidence knowing that when you take your engine to the water, it’s going to work. Now that’s something you won’t get with a private purchase.
